El Dourado is a
spectacular holiday villa in the Algarve, Portugal. A spacious
four-bedroom detached property sleeping up to eight people, it
features two acres of private land overlooking glorious countryside,
a heated swimming pool, barbecue and outdoor dining area.
We chose this location for the charm of its people, the beauty of
the countryside, the fantastic beaches nearby, the variety of good
food and restaurants, and of course some of the best golf courses in
Europe. Santa Barbara is a lovely picturesque village located in the
hills above the city of Faro, 20 minutes from Faro Airport. The
villa is a 15-minute drive from the town of Faro, 30 minutes from
the Spanish border, 2.5 hours from Lisbon via the new motorway and
just over two hours to Seville.
El Dourado is set in two acres of land with its own driveway and
secure, automated gate system. Tropical gardens and grassed lawns
surround the property, which has stunning views across the Algarvian
coastline.

Laundry room with washer/dryer.
Kitchen: Dishwasher, fridge, freezer, electric hob, electric oven,

Utility room: Fully equipped, including storage space, sink, iron,
ironing board, washing machine, dryer and additional fridge.
Living room: Open fireplace. Seating for 8 people.
Dining area: Dining table and seating for 8 people.
Bedroom 3 (with patio doors leading directly onto the garden): Twin
beds, fitted wardrobes.
Bathroom 3 (en-suite): Toilet, bath with shower.
Bedroom 4 (with patio doors leading directly onto the garden): Twin
beds, fitted wardrobes.

First floor
Bedroom 1: Kingsize bed, access to terrace with spectacular views,
fitted wardrobes, security safe.

Facilities
Air conditioning and central under-floor heating throughout,
telephone, linen provided, towels provided,
safe provided.
Laundry: Bed linen is changed once a week. Towels are changed twice a
week. Towels and linen are included, but guests will
need to provide
their own beach/pool towels.
Maid service: Maids visit once per week (included as part of rental
fee).
Entertainment: DVD, TV, satellite or cable, video player, radio,
stereo system, CD.
Internet access : ISDN.
Outdoor area: Garden, terrace, balcony, built-in barbecue, parking,
8 cushioned garden chairs, 8 beach chairs.
